We are excited to share that the Pimpama PCYC has successfully had all funds committed and will be built before the end of 2028. What a great outcome for the local community.
On 8 July 2026, after over a decade of advocacy for a local PCYC, the Premier of Queensland David Crisafulli committed the remaining funding to build the new Pimpama PCYC. The Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama see this as a great outcome for the local community.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art PCYC facility is officially on the way for the Pimpama community. This $30 million project is scheduled to open by late 2028 on Pimpama Jacobs Well Road. The proposed Pimpama PCYC will provide a dedicated community hub focused on youth development, health, wellbeing, sport and recreation for residents of all ages.
